NOTIFICATION

The 31st December, 2025

No.04/118/DA(SA-1)/MEB/2025/294.-In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 of the

Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 read with Rule 4 of the Determination of the number of Elected

members of Municipal Corporations Order, 2008 (Amended) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf,

the Governor of Punjab is pleased to re-determine the number of elected members and reservation thereof and

is further pleased to specify the constituencies (wards) reserved for Schedule Castes, Backward Classes and

Women (including Schedule Castes Women) in the said Municipal Corporation, S.A.S. Nagar as under:-

Note:- All the previous notifications, if any, regarding seat number reserved for General and Schedule Castes,

Ladies (Including Schedule Castes Ladies) and Backward Classes in the above mentioned

municipality(ies) shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance

of this notification.
