NOTIFICATION

The 14th September, 2022

No. 10/25/2021-1T2/1017.- The Governor of Punjab is pleased to supersede Government of Punjab,

Department of Transport (Transport-II branch) notification No.10/25/2021-1T2/885-896 dated 13.7.2021. Regional

Driving Training Center at Village Tolewal, Tehsil Amargarh, District Malerkotla is being established to impart

Driving Training of International Standard to the drivers of commercial vehicles and to inculcate in them traffic

discipline & road safety sensitization with the objective of reducing accidents and for smooth flow of traffic on

the roads of the State of Punjab. In pursuance of above M/s Ashok Leyland Ltd. is desirous of forming a

society namely the "Ashok Leyland Regional Driving Training Center, Malerkotla Punjab" (Joint venture

between Ashok Leyland Ltd. and Government of Punjab) to run & manage the operations of the Institute

under the provisions of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 which shall be governed by its Memorandum of

Understanding & the provisions therein. In pursuance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the

Governing Council will have the following members:

There shall be an Executive Committee for proper & timely execution of the decisions taken by the

Governing Council with regard to the Institute. The Executive Committee shall function under the overall

supervision of the Management Committee. The Management Committee shall have the following members

for effective enforcement of the aims and objectives of Governing Council:
