NOTIFICATION

NO.PLAN-PLAN01(APNT)/6/2025-2P/213.- In continuation of Punjab Government Notification

No. PLAN-PLAN01(APNT)/6/2025-2P/199 dated 20.12.2025, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to accord

Cabinet Rank to Sh. Gulzarinder Singh Chahal, Vice-Chairman, Economic Policy and Planning Board, Punjab

with effect from the date he assumes the charge of this assignment.

2.

The salary and other allowances will be provided as under:-

i.

Salary of Rs. 35,000/- per month.

ii.

Sumptuary allowance of Rs. 3,000/- per month.

iii.

Personal staff including Personal Assistant or Junior Scale Stenographer, one clerk and one

peon (Total-3).

iv.

Telephone allowance at the rate of Rs. 5,000/- per month.

v.

Travelling concession at the rate of Rs. 2.00 lakh per annum.

vi.

Rent free accommodation or Rs. 35,000/- per month as house rent allowance.

vii.

Staff car by the State Government with monthly petrol limit of 200 litres/diesel limit of 300 litres

and maintenance charges of Rs. 4,000/- per month.

viii.

Mileage Allowance (for private vehicle used) at the rate of Rs. 15/- per kilometer for maximum

3,000/- km per month (This includes maintenance/depreciation, petrol/diesel and salary of driver).

ix.

Daily allowance while on official tour at the rate of Rs. 1000/- per month.

x.

Medical facilities and reimbursement as per Punjab Services (Medical Attendance) Rules.

3.

This issues with the approval of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Punjab.
