NOTIFICATION

The 23rd January, 2026

No. HOME-HM-50COFE/1/2025-5H5/26.- Whereas the of Government of Punjab, Department

of Home Affairs and Justice Notification No. S.O.04/C.A.46/1988/S.9/2023, dated the 24th January,

2023, No. 15/12/2023-4H1/551, the 17th March, 2023 and No. HOME-HM-50ACT/I/2024-HOME-5/391,

dated the 23rd May, 2024 had, respectively, constituted the Advisory Board(s) under section 9 of the

Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 46 of

1988), section 9 of the National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act No. 65 of 1980) and section 8 of the Conservation

of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (Act No. 52 of 1974); and

whereas, vide the Government of Punjab, Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Notifications No.

4/5/17-5H5/2368, dated the 29th September, 2020 and No. 4/5/17-5H5/2377, dated the 29th September, 2020,

the tenure and terms and conditions of the Chairman and Members of the said Advisory Board(s) were notified;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the aforesaid Acts, and all other powers enabling

him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to extend the tenure of the Chairman and Members of

aforesaid Advisory Board(s), consisting of the following Chairman and Members, upto 09.01.2028; namely:-

1.

Justice (Retired) Shabihul Hasnain

: Chairman

2.

Sh. Suveer Sheokand, Advocate

: Member

3.

Sh. Divanshu Jain, Advocate

: Member

All other terms and conditions of the Chairman and Members of the said Advisory Board (s), as notified

earlier, shall remain unchanged.
