NOTIFICATION

The 21st August, 2026

No.H-U-H1/64/2026-6H1/1145.- Whereas, the Governor of Punjab desires that the land is likely

to be required at the public expense for public purpose, for the development of Aerotropolis extension in

Village Khizargarh (23.6667 Acre ) in the area of Tehsil Banur, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar as per

drawing No. DTP, S.A.S Nagar 2451/2026 dated 27.1.2026.

This notification is made under the provisions of Section-11 "The Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 to all whom

it may concern. It is to be noted that Social Impact Assessment (SIA) of the proposed acquisition for

development of Aerotropolis extension in Village Khizargarh (23.6667Acres) in the area of Tehsil Banur,

District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar has been carried out as per Section 4 of the Act ibid. The Social Impact

Assessment (SIA) ascertains that very few persons are likely to be displaced. There is no major direct

impact identified during Social Impact Assessment (SIA). The SIA has been disclosed to the people and

their representative as per Section 6 of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013. Government of Punjab has notified Additional

Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohali, as Administrator of the above said project.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the aforesaid Section, the Governor of Punjab is

pleased to authorize the officers for the time being engaged in the undertaking, along with their servants

and workmen, to enter upon and survey the land in the said locality and do all other acts required or

permitted by Section 12 of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013".

Any person interested in, and having any objection to the acquisition of land in the said

locality may, within sixty days from the date of publication of this notification, file an objection in writing

pertaining to (a) area and suitability of the land proposed to be acquired (b) justification offered for public

purpose and (c) the findings of the Social Impact Assessment report before the Land Acquisition Collector,

Urban Development, Ground Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Sector-62, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.

No person, without the prior approval of Land Acquisition Collector, shall make any

transaction or cause any transaction of land specified in this notification or create any encumbrances on

such land from the date of publication of this notification till such times as the proceedings regarding

acquisition are completed.

The Plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Land Acquisition Collector,

Urban Development, Ground Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Sector-62, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
