NOTIFICATION

1.0

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 38 & 39 of the Punjab Canal and Drainage Act,

2023 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify

that a ‘Drain Tracker’ Application has been developed for use by the departmental officers as well

as general public/applicants for determining the distance of a project site from departmental drains

and generation of System Generated Certificate regarding Non-Requirement of Drainage NOC, as

applicable.

2.0

All concerned officials shall start using the Drain Tracker Application/Module and monitor the

System Generated Certificates generated by applicants, available in the Drain Tracker Module on

the WRD Portal, for any discrepancy and take necessary action, as required.

3.0

The concerned field officers shall ensure that the drain details and KML files available on the WRD

Portal are accurate and updated from time to time.

4.0

For any query regarding the application/module, the concerned Module Manager, Sh. Harjeet

Singh, SDO/Drainage (Floods), Mob. No. 9888291548 may be contacted. Any change in the

Module Manager in future shall be intimated separately.
