NOTIFICATION

No.FCS-CPA01/56/2022-1CPA/I/1497312/2026.- In exercise of the powers conferred under

Section 32 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Rule 4(3) of Consumer Protection (Qualification for

Appointment, Method of Recruitment, Procedure of Appointment, Term of Office, Resignation and Removal

of the Presidents and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2020 and in order to

fulfill statutory requirement regarding the composition of the Commission, ensure continuity in the functioning

of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and facilitate expeditious disposal of consumer

cases, it is hereby notified that Smt. Tajinder Kaur, Member, District Consumer Commission, Fazilka, shall hold

the additional charge of the Member, District Consumer Commission, Sri Muktsar Sahib, until further orders.

Since Smt. Tajinder Kaur, Member, District Consumer Commission, Fazilka has been discharging the

duties of the said additional charge and participating in the decision- making process since 29.10.2025 and in

order to ensure that no prejudice is caused to any person or detriment is caused to the public interest, this

notification shall be deemed to have come into force retrospectively with effect from 29.10.2025.
