NOTIFICATION

The 23rd September, 2026

No.S.O.44/C.A.39/1987/S.8-A/2026.- In exercise of the powers

conferred by section 8-A of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central

Act No. 39 of 1987), and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Punjab

State Legal Services Authority, in consultation with the Hon’ble Chief Justice

of Punjab and Haryana High Court, is pleased to make the following amendment

in the Government of Punjab, Punjab State Legal Services Authority,

Notification No. S.O.73/C.A.39/1987/S.8-A/2024, dated the 19th December,

2024, namely:-

AMENDMENT

1. In the said notification, for the words “Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anoop

Chitkara”, the words “Hon’ble Mr. Justice Suvir Sehgal” shall be

substituted.

2. It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 08th day of

September, 2026.
