Partial amendment in RoW compensation policy issued by Energy
Department, GoR on 08.11.2024
No.F.12(31)Energy/2024/02647 .-Partial amendment in policy regarding
payment of crop compensation and compensation towards land use in regard to
Right of Way (RoW) for installation of 132kV and above transmission lines in
the state of Rajasthan" published by Department of Energy, Govt. of Rajasthan
in Gazette of Rajasthan on dt. 08.11.2024 is hereby proposed in regard to
installation of 400kV and above transmission lines asfollows:-
Pointno.II(4)isherebysubstitutedasunder:-
Tower Base compensation: Compensation for the tower base area shall
be of 200% of the land value as per DLC rates and additional 200%
compensation will be given for these lines due to more risk factor
involved in these linesowing to induction effects due to strong electric
and magnetic field generated by these lines. The tower basearea shall be
the area enclosed by the four legs of the tower at ground level, plus an
additional one (1) meter extension on each side.
Pointno.II(5)isherebysubstitutedasunder:-
RoW Corridor compensation: The compensation amount for Right-of-
Way (RoW) corridor shall be as follows:-
i.
30% of the land value in rural areas.
ii.
45% of the land value for municipalities and all other urban planning areas
notified by the State Government.
iii.
60% of the land value in municipal corporations and metropolitan areas
notified by the State Government.
Land value will be calculated as per DLC rates. Land within the RoW
corridor, as defined in Schedule VII of the Central Electricity Authority
(Technical Standards for Construction of Electrical Plants and Electric
Lines)
Regulations,
2022
(Annexure-A),
shall
be
eligible
for
compensation. This compensation will address the potential diminution of
land value due to the presence of overhead lines or underground cables
