G.S.R.67 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337 of the Rajasthan
Municipalities Act, 2009 (Act No. 18 of 2009), the State Government hereby makes the
following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Municipal (Administrative and Technical)
Service Rules, 1963, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the
Rajasthan Municipal (Administrative and Technical) Service (Amendment) Rules,
2025.
(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
Amendment of Schedule. - In Schedule appended to the Rajasthan Municipal
(Administrative and Technical) Service Rules, 1963, under the head II-Technical Officers, the
existing serial number 5 and 5A and entries thereto shall be substituted by the following,
namely:-

Town
Planner
100% by
Promotion
on the basis of
merit cum
seniority
Deputy
Town
Planner
5 years' experience on the post of
Deputy Town Planner and having
qualification specified for direct
recruitment to the post of
Assistant Town Planner
or
total 10 years' experience of
service including minimum
03 years' experience on the post
of Deputy Town Planner and
Post Graduate Degree in Urban /
City / Regional Planning / Traffic
&Transportation Planning /
M.Tech in Planning or M.Plan. in
Urban / Regional / Traffic &
Transport / Environment or
equivalent.
