जी.एस.आर.93्:-भारत के रंवविान के ननुच् छेे 309 के पर् तुक द्वारा प्रेत् त ोम्तितयों का
प्रयोग करते हुए राजस् ाान के राज् यपाल, राजस् ाान पुरातत् व एवं रं्रहहालय रेवा र्नयम, 1960 को और
रंोोधित करने के ललए, इरके द्वारा र्नम् नललिखत र्नयम बनाते ह, नााित -
1. संक्षिप््त्नाम्रर््ारंभ.- (1) इन र्नयमों का नाम राजस् ाान पुरातत् व एवं रं्रहहालय रेवा
(रंोोिन) र्नयम, 2025 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाोन की तारीख रे प्रवृत् त होंगे।
2.् अनुसूची् का् संशोधन.-् राजस् ाान पुरातत् व एवं रं्रहहालय रेवा र्नयम, 1960 रे रंलग् न
ननुरनच में, ो र्ि ग्रुप-क के उप-ो र्ि चयन्ग्रेड के नि न,-
(i) ववद्यमान क्रम रंख यांक 1 और उरकी प्रववम्टियों के स् ाान पर र्नम् नललिखत प्रर्तस् ाावपत
ककया जायेगा, नााित -

NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, November 10, 2025
G.S.R.93 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby make the following rules further to
amend the Rajasthan Archaeology and Museums Service Rules, 1960, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1)These rules may be called the Rajasthan
Archaeology and Museums Service (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Schedule.- In Schedule appended to the Rajasthan Archaeology and
Museums Service Rules, 1960, under sub-head Selection Grade of head Group A ,-
(i) the existing serial number 1 and entries thereto shall be substituted by the following,
namely:-

1. Director of
Archaeology
& Museum
100% by
promotion
Joint
Director
Five years experience as Joint
Director. In case no Joint
Director is found eligible or
suitable for promotion, the
person
working
as
Joint
Director and having at least 8
years combined experience of
the posts of Joint Director and
Deputy Director shall be
considered
for
promotion;
and
He must also be trained in
Conservations,
Excavation,
and Museums organization
techniques and should have a
good record either by way of
publication,
Conservation
work,
Epigraphy,
Numismatics and other fields
of the departmental activities.

(ii) after serial number 1 and entries thereto, so substituted and before the existing serial
number 2 and entries thereto, the following new serial number 1A and entries thereto shall be
inserted, namely:-
