G.S.R.101 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55 of the Rajasthan

Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012 (Act No. 21 of 2012), the State Government

hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Transparency in Public

Procurement Rules, 2013, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan

Transparency in Public Procurement (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 42.- In sub-rule (6) of rule 42 of the Rajasthan Transparency in

Public Procurement Rules, 2013, for the existing expression "or deposit through eGras.", the

expression", deposit through eGras or Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) of a scheduled bank. FDR

shall be in the name of procuring entity on account of bidder and discharged by the bidder in

advance. The procuring entity shall ensure before accepting the FDR that the bidder furnished

an undertaking from the bank to make payment/premature payment of the FDR on demand to

the procuring entity without requirement of consent of the bidder concerned." shall be

substituted.
