Jodhpur, December 02, 2025

S.No.: Y-2() Jodh./DCP/Traffic/2025/ 3873-3902 :- In compliance with the

order passed by the Hon'ble Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur dated 12.11.2025 in DB civil writ

petition no. 8139/2024, shri Chandrashekhar Vs. State of Rajasthan and others, in exercise of

the powers conferred by rule 8.1 (ii) of the Rajasthan Motor Vehicle Rules, 1990, to reduce

traffic accidents and to reduce inconvenience caused to the patients & their families visiting

AIIMS, in public interest, hereby completely prohibit and restrict the movement of heavy

vehicles on the road from AIIMS Tiraha Basni to Nahar Chauraha in Jodhpur metropolitan city

from 07.00 AM to 11.00 PM.

The aforementioned restrictions shall not apply to the following vehicles:-

Vehicles belonging to the Indian army, paramilitary forces, police, school buses,

state government and government of India vehicles or medical department (specifically oxygen

supply and emergency services).

Any violation of this notification shall subject the offender to necessary legal

action by the police and transport department under the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act

and rules. This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official

gazette.

The above notification is issued today, dated 02.12.2025, under my signature and

office seal.
