.-The Bar Council of Rajasthan is

hereby notified in terms of Order dated 18^th November, 2025 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court

of India in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 1319/2023 titled as M. Varadhan vs. Union of India

and Ors. The Schedule of the Election is as under:-

On completion of counting

Rajasthan Bar Council is directed to take appropriate steps for publication of this notice in the

Official Gazette and two newspapers. Rajasthan Bar Council shall put this notification on the

website of the Bar Council of Rajasthan as well as on the notice board of Bar Council of

Rajasthan and Bar Associations.

Note:

(i) Nomination forms shall be available for sale at the office of Bar Council of Rajasthan

at Jodhpur on payment of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only). Maximum 4

(Four) nomination papers will be issued per candidate.

(ii) Every nomination paper shall be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs.

1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only) by way of Bank Draft/

Bankers Cheque in favour of “BAR COUNCIL OF RAJASTHAN” payable at Jodhpur

or online.

(iii)An Advocate belonging to the specially abled category contesting the Election of the

Bar Council shall be required to pay a symbolic nomination fee of Rs. 15,000/-

(Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) by way of Bank Draft/ Bankers Cheque in favour of

“BAR COUNCIL OF RAJASTHAN” payable at Jodhpur or online instead of Rs.

1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only), as per Order dated 05^th

January, 2026 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, in Pankaj Sinha vs.

Bar Council of India & Ors. in Writ Petition(s) (Civil) No.(s) 1261/2025.

(iv) There shall be no separate ballot paper for the women advocates contesting the

Election of Bar Council of Rajasthan, as per Order dated 16^th January, 2026 of the

Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
