No. F5(2)COI/Coord/DES/2020 .- In continuation of the notification issued by
the Statistics Department No. P.5(53)/COI/Sam/DES dated 02 December, 2025,
and in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the
Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948), the Governor hereby appoints the officers
mentioned in column no. 3 of the following table as per the designation of census
officers mentioned in column no. 4 . In rural areas, in place of serial no. 6
Tehsildar was appointed as Charge Census officer at Tehsil level and in urban
areas, in place of serial no. 3 deputy Commissioner/Executive officer of
Municipal Corporation Zone and Municipality was appointed as Charge Census
Officer, the following shall be read as under:
