धारा 43 से 48, 50, 55 एवं 56 सपǑठत धारा 181 Ùवारा Ĥद× त शिÈतयɉ और उस Ǔनͧमत उसे

समथ[ बनाने वालȣ समèत शािÈतयɉ का Ĥयोग करते हयेु, राजèथान ͪवÙयतु ͪवǓनयामक आयोग, पव[ू

Ĥकाशन के पæचात्, राजèथान ͪवÙयतु ͪवǓनयामक आयोग (ͪवÙयतु Ĥदाय कोड तथा सàबÙध

मामलɅ) ͪवǓनयम, 2021 (इसके पæचात् “मलू ͪवǓनयम’’ के Ǿप मɅ संदͧभ[त) मɅ संशोधन करने के

ͧलये एतÙÙवारा Ǔनàनͧलͨखत ͪवǓनयम बनाता है, अथा[त् :

1.

लघु शȸष[क, ĤयोÏयता तथा Ĥारàभण

(क) ये ͪवǓनयम, “राजèथान ͪवÙयतु ͪवǓनयामक आयोग (ͪवÙयतु Ĥदाय कोड तथा सàबÙध

मामलɅ) (ततीय

ृ

संशोधन) ͪवǓनयम, 2026’’ कहलायɅगे।

(ख) ये ͪवǓनयम राÏय मɅ माǓनत अन£िÜतधाǐरयɉ

ु

सǑहत ͪवतरण अन£िÜतधाǐरयɉ

ु

एवं

उपभोÈताओं के ͧलये ĤयोÏय हɉगɅ।

(ग) ये ͪवǓनयम, इन ͪवǓनयमɉ के शासकȧय राज-पğ मɅ Ĥकाषन कȧ Ǔतͬथ से Ĥव× त

ृ

हɉगɅ।

2.

मलू ͪवǓनयम के ͪवǓनयम 6 मɅ संशोधन

मलू ͪवǓनयम के उप-ͪवǓनयम 6.13 के नीचे एक नया उप-ͪवǓनयम 6.14 Ǔनàनानसार

जोड़ा

जाएगा

“6.14 -एचटȣ/ईएचटȣ उपभोÈताओं को िÙव-İोत ͪवÙयतु आपǓत[

कȧ आवæयकता रखने वाले आवेदकɉ को, तकनीकȧ åयवहाय[ता तथा सर¢ा

ͪवǓनयमɉ के अनपालन

के अधीन, दो İोतɉ से ͪवÙयतु आपǓत[

Ĥदान कȧ जा सकती है, िजसमɅ

दोनɉ İोतɉ का एक साथ उपयोग अथवा èटɇडबाय İोत के Ǿप मɅ उपयोग सिàमͧलत होगा।

ऐसी िèथǓत मɅ, उपभोÈता को ͩकसी İोत से शÛय

माँग तक उपयोग करने कȧ

RAJASTHAN ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION

NOTIFICATION

Jaipur, January 21, 2026

No. RERC/Secy/ Reg161: In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 43 to 48,

50, 55 and 56 read with section 181 of the Electricity Act 2003 (Act 36 of 2003), and all

other powers enabling it in this behalf and after previous publications, the Rajasthan

Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby makes the following Regulations to amend the

Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity supply code and connected

matters) Regulations, 2021(hereinafter referred to as “the Principal Regulations”), namely:

1.

Short title, applicability and commencement

a)

These Regulations shall be called ‘The Rajasthan Electricity

Regulatory

Commission

(Electricity

Supply

Code

and

Connected Matters) (Third Amendment), Regulations, 2026.

b)

These Regulations shall apply to distribution licensees

including deemed licensees and consumers in the State.

c)

These Regulations shall come into force from the date of their

publication in the official gazette.

2.

Amendment in Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations:

A new sub-Regulation 6.14 shall be added below sub-Regulation 6.13 of the

Principlal Regulation as under:

“6.14 – Dual Source Supply to HT/EHT Consumers:-Supply of electricity may

be provided to applicants requiring HT/EHT supply from two sources with

simultaneous use /or standby source, subject to technical feasibility and

compliance with Safety Regulations. In such case, consumers will be at liberty

to use contracted demand either of the source from zero to contracted demand.

In such case, applicant shall deposit all expenses towards extension of electric

line or electric plant for both sources in addition to charges as prescribed in

the schedule of charges(Schedule-I).”

3.

Amendment in Schedule-I of the Principal Regulations:-

A new proviso shall be added below existing Schedule-I, 2.2(b) of the Principal

Regulation as under:-

“Provided that if consumer applies for dual source of supply with use of both

sources simultaneously/ or standby source, double the plant cost will be

charged.”
