अनिसूचना

सां. 318/रा.स.-मल्टी/2/2026 (1)- यतः, भारत के राष्ट्रपनत ने लोक प्रनतनननित्व अनिननयम, 1951

(1951 का 43) की िारा 12 के अिीन जारी, और तारीख 01 जून, 2026 को भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकानशत

अनिसूचना द्वारा नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ (1) में ववननदिाष्ट राज्यों की वविान सभा के प्रत्येक ननवाानचत सिस्यों

से यह अपेक्षा की है दक वे उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ (2) में राज्यों के सामने ववननदिाष्ट सांख्या में राज्यसभा के नलए

सिस्य ननवाानचत कर िें:

उक्त ननवााचन के सांबांि में ननम्ननलणखत ननिााररत करता हैः-

(क) नाम ननिेनशत करने की अणततम तारीख

- 08 जून, 2026 (सोमवार)

(ख)

नाम ननिेशनों की सांववक्षा की तारीख

- 09 जून, 2026 (मांगलवार)

(ग) अभ्यनथाताएां वापस लेने की अांनतम तारीख

- 11 जून, 2026 (गुरूवार)

(घ) वह तारीख, णजसको यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो मतिान होगा

- 18 जून, 2026 (गुरूवार), और

(ङ) वह तारीख णजससे पूवा ननवााचन सम्पतन करा नलया जाएगा

- 20 जून, 2026 (शननवार), और

(आ)

09:00 बजे पूवााह्न से 04:00 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय, ऐसे समय के रूप में ननयत करता है णजसके

िौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो, उक्त ववननदिाष्ट तारीख को, मतिान होगा।

No. 318/CS-Multi/2/2026(1): - Whereas, the President of India has, by notification

issued under Section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951(43 of 1951) and

published in the Gazette of India on 01^st June, 2026, been pleased to call upon the elected

members of each of the Legislative Assemblies of the States, specified in column (1) of the

TABLE below, to elect to the Council of States, the number of member(s) specified against

that State in column (2) of the said TABLE:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 39 and Section 56 of the

said Act, the Election Commission hereby-

(A)

appoints, with respect to the said election;

(a) the 08^th June, 2026 (Monday), as the last date for making nominations;

(b) the 09^thJune, 2026 (Tuesday), as the date for the scrutiny of the nominations;

(d) the 18^th June, 2026 (Thursday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be

taken; and

(e) the 20^th June, 2026 (Saturday), as the date before which the election shall be

completed; and

(B)

fixes the hours from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, as the hours during which the poll shall,

if necessary, be taken in all the above-mentioned States on the date specified above for the

election.

अनुसरण में एवां उक्त अनिननयम की िारा 22 की उपिारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त शवक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, ननवााचन

आयोग, नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ (1) में ववननदिाष्ट प्रत्येक राज्य सरकार के परामशा से 01 जून, 2026 को भारत

के राजपत्र में प्रकानशत भारत के राष्ट्रपनत की अनिसूचना के अनुसरण में उस राज्‍य में राज्य सभा के नलए होने

वाले दद्ववावषाक ननवााचन के सांबांि में एतद्द्द्वारा-‍

(i)

नीचे की सारणी के स्तांभ (2) में ववननदिाष्ट अनिकारी को ररटननिंग ऑदिसर के रूप में पिानभदहत करता

है, तथा

(ii)

उक्त सारणी के स्तांभ (3) में ववननदिाष्ट अनिकारी(यों) को ररटननिंग ऑदिसर के कृत्यों के ननष्पािन में

सहायता के नलए, सहायक ररटननिंग ऑदिसर के रूप में ननयुक्त करता है;

NOTIFICATION

No. 318/CS-Multi/2/2026(2): - In pursuance of Section 21, and in exercise of the

powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22, of the Representation of the People Act,

1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission, in consultation with the Government of each of

the States, specified in the column (1) of the TABLE below, hereby-

(i)

designates the officer, specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the

said TABLE to be the Returning Officer; and

(ii)

appoints the officer(s), specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of

the said TABLE, to be the Assistant Returning Officer(s) to assist the

Returning Officer in the performance of his/her functions;

in respect of the biennial election to the Council of States, to be held in that State in

pursuance of the notification of the President of India, published in the Gazette of India on
