Tamil Nadu hereby declares that it is proposed to constitute

the lands the situation and Limits of which are Speciﬁ ed in

the Schedule below, as reserved forest and also appoints

Numbers 83, 41 and 42/1 (part) of No. 51 Paithur Village.

East.-Thence, the boundary runs 12.2 metres in the

Southern direction and then runs 12.0 metres in the western

direction and thence, runs 22.4 metres in the southern direction

and thence, runs 7.6 metres in the eastern direction and

thence, runs 45.0 metres and 60.0 metres in the southern

direction, all being along the western boundary of Survey

Filed Number 41 and Survey Filed Number 42/1 (part)

and meets the tri-junciton point of Survey Filed Numbers

42/1, 42/4 and proposed forest block (Survey ﬁ led number

42/1 (Part).

South.- Thence, the boundary runs 112.8 metres along

the northern boundary of Survey Field Number 42/4 in the

western direction, ending at the tri-junction point of north

road in Manakudi Village, Mayiladuthurai Taluk, Nagapattinam

District and it has already been decided that the entire

amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands is

2002) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the

extent of 7438 sq.mtrs of Wet lands in Manakudi Village,

Mayiladuthurai Taluk, Nagapattinam District to the same, a

Order: No. 152, Public (Protocol-II), 26th February 2018.

In the Government Order ﬁ rst to third read above, Special

Rules for the post of Liaison Ofﬁ cer, State Guest House,

Chepauk, Chennai -5, were issued. Further, except the post

of Liaison Ofﬁ cer, all the posts in the State Guest House,

Chennai, Tamizhagam Guest House, Udhagamandalam and

Tamil Nadu House, New Delhi are kept out of the purview

of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. So as to

maintain the similarity of all posts, Government desires to

bring the post of Liaison Ofﬁ cer outside the purview of the

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

2. In the letter fourth read above, the Tamil Nadu Public

Service Commission was requested to give its concurrence

for the exclusion of the post of Liaison Ofﬁ cer. In the

letter ﬁ fth read above, the TNPSC has concurred with the

proposal to bring the post of Liaison Ofﬁ cer in the State

Guest House, Chepauk, Chennai-5 in Tamil Nadu General

Service outside its purview and informed that necessary

amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public' Service Commission

Regulations 1954 should be issued for such exclusion.

3. The Government, after careful examination, direct

that the post of Liaison Ofﬁ cer in the State Guest House,

Chepauk, Chennai-5, in Tamil Nadu General Service, shall

be brought outside the purview of the Tamil Nadu Public

Service Commission.

4. Necessary amendments to Tamil Nadu Public Service

Commission Regulations, 1954 will separately be issued

by Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M) Department.

having been satisﬁ ed that the lands speciﬁ ed in the Schedule

below have to be acquired for Highways purpose for forming

Road Over Bridge at Valapady Taluk, Muthampatty and

Agrahara Valapady Village at Km 24/8 of Salem-Ulundurpet

(Old NH-68) LC No.159 Railway Km 164/600-700 between

Valapady and Minnampalli Railway Stations at Salem District

and it has already been decided that the entire amount of

compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid

out of the funds controlled or managed by the Divisional

Engineer (Projects), Highways Department, Salem District

after considering the cause shown by the owner (or) other

person having interest on such lands as the case may be

do hereby publish the following notice under sub-section

(1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001

(Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of

2002) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the land

speciﬁ ed in the Schedule below measuring to an extent

of 4970.0 Sqmts of Ra.Punjai lands in Muthampatty and

Agrahara Valapady Village at Km 24/8 of Salem-Ulundurpet

(Old NH-68) LC No.159 Railway Km 164/600-700 between

Valapady and Minnampalli Railway Stations at Salem District

to the same a little more or less needed for forming Road
