Confirmation of Variation

1. The entire Perumalpuram Extension Detailed Development Plan No. 7 of Tirunelveli Local Planning Area, varied

by the Commissioner of Town and Country Planning proceedings in Roc.No.14162/2003/DP2, dated:6-9-2013 U/s 33(1)

of Town and Country Planning Act 1971 is hereby confirmed U/s 33(2) of Town and Country Planning Act 1971.

2. The Varied Plan is numbered as Map No. 5/DDP(V)/DTCP No.1/2018.

3. The D.D. Plan clauses and Schedules annexed with this Plan are made enforceable from the date of Publication

of this notification in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

Cancellation of Notifications

The President,Civic Association-Civic Exnora, Chennai-600 060 in his petition dated 17-4-2008 had claimed that since

the excess vacant land measuring 20050 sq.m in S.No.118/1A1A1A of Madhavaram Village which was acquired under the

provisions of the Tamil Nadu Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1978 had already been laid out and got approved

on 1-9-1972 before the Act came into force i.e on 3-8-1976, it might be released from the acquisition proceedings.

Based on the recommendations made by the Commissioner (Urban Land Ceiling and Urban Land Tax) for cancellation

of the Notification issued u/S 11(1) & 11(3) of the Act by the Competent Authority(ULC) Madhavaram Government in its

G.O.Ms. No. 8 (Revenue & Disaster Management)ULC 1(2) Department dated 5-1-2018 has ordered accordingly.

The Principal Secretary&Commissioner (Urban Land Ceiling & Urban Land Tax) Chepauk, Chennai 600 005 in

his letter Rc No.7846/2008/G1 dated 11-1-2018 instructed the Assistant Commissioner (ULT) Madhavaram to take

appropriate action. Accordingly the acquisition proceedings initiated under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Urban Land

(Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1978 in respect of the following survey number in Madhavaram Taluk and Village are

hereby cancelled in accordance with the G.O. (Ms). No.8 Revenue & Disaster Management [ULC.1(2)] Department dated.

5-1-2018. Simultaneously, Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No 32 dated 12.8.1992 Page No 941 (Notification published

u/S 11(1) dated 15.7.1992) and Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 44 dated 11-11-1992 Page No 1330&1331(Notification

published u/S 11(3) dated 15-9-1992) also stands cancelled.
