CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT, 1960, AS AMENDED BY THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

(TAMIL NADU AMENDMENT) ACT, 2017 (ACT 1 OF 2017).

Under clause (dd) of section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Central Act 59 of 1960),

as amended by the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 2017 (Act 1 of 2017),

in supersession of the AH,D&F Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/ AHDF/60(c)/2018, published on page 3 of

Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinay, dated the 13th January, 2018, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi es that Erudhu Vidum Vizha may be conducted between 17th to 30th

April, 2018 in the places specifi ed below:-:
