Under clause (dd) of Section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Central Act 59 of 1960), as amended

by the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 2017 (Act 1 of 2017), in partial supersession of the

Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/AHDF/204(a-2)/2018, published on page 2 of

Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinay, dated the 1st March, 2018, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi es that Jallikattu may be conducted from 21st to 30th April, 2018 in the

place specifi ed below:-
