DATE OF COMING INTO FORCE OF THE TAMIL NADU PRESERVATION OF PRIVATE

FORESTS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011 (TAMIL NADU ACT 8 OF 2015).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu

Preservation of Private Forests (Amendment) Act, 2011 (Tamil Nadu Act 8 of 2015), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 9th July 2018 as the date on which the said Act shall come

into force.
