FIXATION OF FARES FOR ULTRA DELUXE BUSES WITH TOILET FACILITY, AIR CONDITIONED SLEEPER
BUSES AND NON-AIR CONDITIONED SLEEPER BUSES OPERATED BY THE STATE EXPRESS
TRANSPORT CORPORATION LTD., CHENNAI UNDER THE MOTOR VEHICLES ACT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (1) of Section 67 of the Motor Vehicles
Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following direction to the
State Transport Authority, Tamil Nadu and the Regional Transport Authorities regarding the fi xation of fares
for the Ultra Deluxe Buses with Toilet Facility, Air Conditioned Sleeper Buses and Non-Air Conditioned
Sleeper Buses operated by the State Express Transport Corporation, Ltd., Chennai.
2. The Notifi cation hereby issued shall come into force with effect on and from the date of Publication
of this Notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
DIRECTION
The fares for the Ultra Deluxe Buses with Toilet Facility, Air Conditioned Sleeper Buses and Non-Air
Conditioned Sleeper Buses operated by the State Express Transport Corporation, Ltd., shall not exceed
the fares calculated at the rates specifi ed in the Table below:-
