ACQUISITION OF LANDS

The Governor of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the Schedule below are required for Highways

purpose to wit for Construction of Grade separator at the intersection of Velachery Bye Pass – Taramani – Tambaram at

Vijayanagar junction and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands

is to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by Divisional Engineer (Highways), Chennai Metropolitan Development

Plan, Division–II, Saidapet, Chennai–15 and after having considered the cause shown by the owner or other persons having

interest on such lands as the case may be, do hereby publish the following notice under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act, 34 of 2002)

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the Governor

of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the Rayatmanai lands specifi ed in the Schedule below and measuring to an extent of 1265.5

Square Metres to the same or a little more or less are needed for the purpose of Construction of Grade Separator at the

intersection of Velachery Bye-pass – Taramani – Tambaram at Vijayanagar junction.

The plan of the lands under acquisition is kept in the offi ce of the the Special Deputy Collector (LA), Tamil Nadu Urban

Development Project, Alandur, Chennai–16 and may be inspected at any time during offi ce hours.
