In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu

Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 37 of 1987), the Chancellor hereby appoints

Dr. Sudha Seshayyan, Director and Professor, Institute of Anatomy, Madras Medical College, Chennai as the

Vice-Chancellor of the said University for a period of three years with effect from the date of her assuming

office or till she attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
