[MEDALS - The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Prison Medal for Good Service Rules and the Tamil Nadu Chief

Minister's Fire Service Medal Rules - Amendment - Issued.]

The following Government order is Published:—

Rඍඉඌ ගඐඍ ඎ඗ඔඔ඗ඟඑඖඏ:-

G.O.Ms. No.2691, Home (SC) Department, dated 07.11.1985 and amended upto 05.04.2018.

G.O.Ms.No.2148, Home (SC) Department, dated 21.9.1984 and amended upto 16.04.2018.

G.O.Ms.No.306, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 13.10.2017.

From the Additional Director General of Police/ Inspector General of Prisons, Chennai, Letter No. 45308/ES4/2017,

dated 03.01.2018.

Oකඌඍක:—G.O. Ms. No. 2431, Home (SC), 24th December 2018.

The monthly allowance has been increased to Rs. 400/- to the recipients of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Constabulary

Medal with effect from 01-10-2017 in the Government Order third read above. The Government have decided to enhance

the monthly medal allowance to the recipients of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Prison Medal for Good Service and also to the

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal on par with the police personnel.

2. Accordingly, the following amendment is issued to the Tamil Nadu Chief, Minister’s Prison Medal for Good Service

Rules and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal Rules in the Government Order first and second read above.

Aඕඍඖඌඕඍඖග-I.

In the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Prison Medal for Good Service Rules, in Rule-10, the following shall be substituted:-

“Rule-10:-

“Rs. 400/-” instead of “Rs.300/-” ”

Aඕඍඖඌඕඍඖග-II

In the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal Rules, in Rule-10, the following shall be substituted:-

“Rule-10:-

“Rs. 400/-” instead of “Rs.300/-” ”

This order shall come into force with effect from 01-10-2017.

4. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.31828/Finance (Home-II)/2018

dated 03-09-2018.
