Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service.

Margazhi 2, Vilambi, Thiruvalluvar Aandu - 2049.]

No. SRO B-2/2019.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate

Service (Section 21 in Volume III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016)

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with eff ect from 24th March 2008.

In the said Special Rules, in Part-II, under the heading ''Branch IV General'', in Annexure I (referred to in rule 4), under

the heading Class II, for the entries in column (2) against the entries ''Category 2 Radiographers'' in column (1) thereof, the

following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Director of Medical Education or Director of Medical and Rural Health Services or

Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine''.
