In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Chennai

City Civil Court (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Tamil Nadu Act 45 of 2018), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby appoints the 1st day of February 2019 as the date on which the said Act

shall come into force.
