Under clause (dd) of section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Central Act 59

of 1960), as amended by the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 2017

(Act 1 of 2017), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi es the following amendment to the Animal

Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Department Notifi cation at pages 1-2 of Part–II, Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary dated 8th January, 2019.

In the said Notifi cation under the heading ‘Krishnagiri District’, for the entry ‘Marudhepatti’ in column

(2) against Sl. No. 4 in column (1) thereof, the entry “Marudhepalli”. shall be substituted.
