In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of

Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2017), the Governor

of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 22nd day of February 2019 as the date on which the said Act shall

come into force.
