Amendment to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority Rules.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987),

the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court, Madras, hereby makes the following

amendment to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority Rules, 1997:-

Amendment

In the said Rules, in rule 17, for the expression "Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh only)", the expression

"Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh only)' shall be substituted.
