No.II(2)/HWMP/241/2019.—The  Governor  of Tamil Nadu

having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule

below have to be acquired for the formation of Approach

Road for Construction of Under Level Bridge in lieu of

LC  No. 439 of    Railway   KM  587/6-7 Paruvakudi–Kovilpatti–

Ettayapuram–Vilathikulam-Vembar

Road

(SH-44)

Bridge

situated in Kovilpatti Town of Kovilpatti Taluk in the District

of Thoothukudi, and it having already been decided that the

entire amount of compensation is to be awarded for the

lands to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed by

Divisional Engineer (NABARD and Rural Roads), Highways

Department, Tirunelveli, the following notice is issued under

sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways

Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001, (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of

2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the

lands specified in the Schedule below measuring 0.07.70

hectare to the same, a little more or less needed for the

formation of Approach Road for Construction of Under

Level Bridge in lieu of LC No. 439 of Railway KM

587/6-7 Paruvakudi-Kovilpatti-Ettayapuram-Vilathikulam-

Vembur Road (SH-44) Bridge situated in Kovilpatti Town

of Kovilpatti Taluk in the District of Thoothukudi.

The Plan of the lands is kept in the office of the

District Collector, Thoothukudi and Revenue Divisional

Officer, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District and may be

inspected at any time during the office hours.

No.II(2)/HWMP/242/2019.—The Governor of Tamil Nadu

having been satisfied that the lands specified in the

schedule below have to be acquired for Highways purpose

to wit for formation of ring road to Mannargudi Town

in 93, Nalamsethi Village, Mannargudi Taluk, Tiruvarur

District and it has already been decided that the entire

amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands

is to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed

by Divisional Engineer (Construction and Maintenance)

Highways Department, Tiruvarur after considering the cause

shown by the owner (or) other person having interest on

such lands as the case may be do hereby publish the

following Notice under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTICE

Under sub - section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of

2002) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the lands

specified in the Schedule below measuring to an extent of

0.84.80 Hectares of Dry lands and 3.61.17 Hectares of

Wet land in 93, Nalamsethi Village, Mannargudi Taluk,

Tiruvarur District to the same, a little more or less required

to wit for forming Ring Road to town.

The Plan of the lands is kept in the office of the

District Revenue Officer, Tiruvarur and may be inspected

at any time during office hours.

having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule

below have to be acquired for Highways purpose to wit for

formation of “High Level Bridge across the Colleroon at

Kallanai connecting Thiruvanaikoil Road and grand Anaicut

Road” in Kilikoodu Village, Srirangam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli

District and it has already been decided that the entire

amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands

is to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed

NOTICE

Under sub - section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of

2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the

lands specified in the Schedule below measuring to a total

extent of 7976.50 Sq.mts (6456.50 Sq.mts of Ryot Wet

lands and 1520.00 Sq.mts Ryot Dry lands) in Kilikoodu

Village, Srirangam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District to the same,

a little more or less required to wit for formation of “High

Level Bridge across the Colleroon at Kallanai connecting

Thiruvanaikoil Road and grand Anaicut road”.

The Plan of the lands is kept in the office of the

District Collector, Tiruchirappalli and may be inspected

at any time during office hours.

No.II(2)/HO/247/2019.—In exercise of the powers

Conferred under Section 15 of the Scheduled Castes and

Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Central

Act 33 of 1989) and in supersession of the orders issued in

the G.O. (D) No. 698, Home (Cts. VIA) Department, dated

12-07-2011 the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints

Thiru A. Sathya, S/o. S. Arumugam, No.6/63, T.V.K. Nagar,

4th Street, Pulianthope, Chennai-12, as Special Public

Prosecutor for the purpose of conducting cases registered

under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention

of Atrocities) Act, 1989 at the District and Sessions Court,

Chennai District, under Section 14 of the said Act, on

tenure basis for a period of three years from the date of

taking charge of his appointment, subject to observance of

existing terms and conditions of appointment.

5. The following are the terms and conditions for the

appointment of the above Law Officer:-

(i) The Law Officer shall hold office for a period of

three years from the date of taking charge of his

appointment.

(ii) The appointment shall be terminated by the

Government at any time before the expiry of the

term of three years by giving one month notice

in writing or by giving one month retainer fee in

lieu of one month notice.

(iii) The Law Officer may resign his post by giving

similar notice to the Government.

(iv) The above Law Officer is not entitled to use the

Tri-colour State Emblem in any form, including in

his letter head.

(v) The services of the Law Officer will terminate

automatically on his attaining the age of 60 years.

(vi) Regarding legal opinion on official matters, the

Public Prosecutor / Government Pleader, alone is

competent to offer his opinion on the clarification

raised from the District Government authorities.

(vii) Any deviation of the conditions stipulated above

will lead to termination of the Law Officer without

prior notice.

6. The District Collector of Chennai district is directed

to report the date on which Thiru A.Sathya takes charge of

his appointment. He is also directed to settle the fee claim

of the above Law Officer subject to eligibility.

Rights Act, 1993 (Central Act 10 of 1993) and

in supersession of the Orders issued in the

G.O. (D) No. 698, Home (Cts. VIA) Department, dated

12-07-2011 the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints

Thiru M.Venu Gopal, S/o. P. Megaian, No.10, New

Kamaraj Nagar, 4th Street, Royapuram, Chennai-13, as

Special Public Prosecutor for the purpose of conducting

cases in Human Rights at the District and Sessions

Court, Chennai District on tenure basis for a period

Exemption to the Temporary and Permanent Employees

of Tamil Nadu Asbestos, Alangulam, Virudhunagar

District for the period from 14-11-2018 to 13-11-2019

under the Act.

[G.O. (D) No. 97, Labour and Employment (L1),

25th February 2019, ñ£C 13, M÷‹H, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2050.]

No.II(2)/LE/251/2019.— In exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 87 read with Section 91A of the

Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (Central Act XXXIV

of 1948), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts

the Permanent and Temporary employees of Tamil Nadu

Asbestos, Alangulam, Virudhunagar District from the

operation of the said Act for the period of one year from

14-11-2018 to 13-11-2019.

(1) The above exemption is subject to the following

conditions, namely:-

(a) The aforesaid Management wherein the employees

are employed shall maintain a Register showing the

names and designations of the exempted employees.

(b) Not withstanding the exemption, the employees shall

continue to receive such benefits under the said Act

to which they might have become entitled to on the

basis of the contributions paid prior to the date from

which exemption granted by this Notification operates.

(c) The contribution for the exempted period, if already

paid shall not be refunded.

(2) The employer of the said shall submit in respect

of the period during which that Management was subject

to the operation of the said Act (herein after referred to

as “the said period”) returns, in such form and containing

such particulars as were due from it in respect of the

said period under the Employees State Insurance (General)

Regulations, 1950.

.

(3) Any Social Security Officer appointed by the

Corporation under sub-section (1) of Section 45 of the

said Act, or other .official authorised in this behalf shall,

for the purpose of,-

(i) verifying the particulars contained in any return submitted

under sub-section (1) of Section 44 of the said Act

for the said period; or

(ii) ascertaining whether registers and records were

maintained as required by the Employees State

Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950 for the said

period; or

(iii) ascertaining whether the employees continue to be

entitled to the benefits provided by the employer in

cash and in kind, being benefits in consideration

of which exemption is being granted under this

Notification; or
