Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service.

[G.O. Ms. No. 40, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (FS2), 6th March 2019,

Maasi 22, Vilambi, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2050.]

No. SRO B-24/2019.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution

of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the

Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service (Section 11 Part III B of the Special Rules in Volume – III of the

Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th August, 2010.

In the said Special Rules, for the expression “Fisherman” wherever it occurs, the expression “Fishery

Assistant”, shall be substituted.
