Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Labour Service.

No. SRO B-25/2019.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special rules for the Tamil Nadu Labour Service

(Section 20B in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016), namely:-

In the said Special Rules, in rule 2, in the TABLE, in the ''Qualifi cations'' in column (3) against the category commencing

with the words "Assistant Commissioners of Labour" and ending with the words "equivalent post on deputation or on foreign

service" in column (1), and the method "Direct recruitment" in column (2) thereof, in entry (iii), in item 2, the expression

"Grandson or unmarried grand daughter" shall be omitted.
