FIXATION OF FARES FOR AIR CONDITIONED 3 X 2 SEATER BUSES OPERATED BY THE TAMIL NADU STATE
TRANSPORT CORPORATION (VILLUPURAM) LIMITED AND FIXING OF FLEXI FARE FOR AIR CONDITIONED
SEATER BUSES OPERATED BY THE STATE EXPRESS TRANSPORT CORPORATION LIMITED CHENNAI UNDER
THE MOTOR VEHICLES ACT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (1) of Section 67 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central
Act 59 of 1988), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following directions to the State Transport Authority, Tamil
Nadu and the Regional Transport Authorities regarding the fixation of bus fare for Air Conditioned 3 X 2 Vehicles operated
by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram) Limited and the fixation of flexi fare for Air Conditioned Seater
Buses operated by the State Express Transport Corporation Limited, Chennai.
2. The directions hereby issued shall come into force with effect on and from the date of Publication of this Notification
in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
DIRECTIONS.
1) The flexi fare for Air Conditioned Seater Buses operated by the State Express Transport Corporation Limited
shall not exceed the fares calculated at the rate specified in the Table below :-
