In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section 82 of the Electricity Act, 2003

(Central Act 36 of 2003), based on the recommendation of the Selection Committee constituted

under Section 85 of the said Act for the purpose referred to therein, the Governor of Tamil Nadu

hereby appoints Thiru. M. Chandrasekar, as the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory

Commission, Chennai.
