NOTIFICATION UNDER THE MANOEUVRES, FIELD FIRING AND ARTILLERY PRACTICE ACT.

defining of certain area in Tiruchirappalli District and authorisation of carrying out

periodical field firing and artillery practice under the Act

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery

Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby defines the area specified in the

Schedule below as an area within which the field firing practice may be authorised for two cycles every year for three

years commencing from the 16-08-2019 to the 15-08-2022.

Notice

Under sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of

1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby gives notice of his intention to issue on or after expiry of two months from

the date of publication of this notice in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, a notification under sub-section (2) of the

said section, authorising the carrying out of field firing practice throughout the whole or any part of the area specified

in column (1) of the Schedule below during the period specified in column (2) thereof.
