No.II(2)/CTR/774/2019.— In exercise of the powers

conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section

9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of

1899), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby provides for

the consolidation of duty of Rs. 4,000/- (Rupees four

thousand only) chargeable under the said Act in respect

of issue of policies by the New India Assurance Company

Limited, Sriperumbudur for the period from 01-07-2019 to

31-03-2020

Provisions for the Consolidation of duty chargeable in

respect of issue of Policies by the Star Health and

Allied Insurance Company Limited, Chennai-34 for

certain period under the Act.

conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9

of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899),

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following

Amendments to the Notification No. II(2)/CTR/387/2019

published in page 480 of Part II Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 23, dated 05-06-2019.

For the expression "31st August 2019" appearing in the
