NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Service.

[G.O. Ms. No.21, Agriculture (AA1), 27th January 2020.]

No. SRO B-8/2020.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension

Service [Section 36 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016].

2. The amendments hereby made shall come into force with eff ect on and from 27th January 2020.

In the said Special Rules, in the Annexure, for the entry in column (3) against the entry "Joint Director of Agriculture

(Extension)" under Class-I in column (1), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

“Must have served as Deputy Director of Agriculture (Extension) for a period of not less than one year"

Amendment to the Ad hoc Rules for the Post of Additional Director of Agriculture (Extension) in Tamil Nadu

Agricultural Extension Service.

No. SRO B-9/2020.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Ad hoc Rules, published in the Agriculture

Department Notifi cation No. S.R.O.310/84, Agriculture, dated the 30th July 1984 at page 373 of part III–Section 1(b) of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 22nd August 1984 as subsequently Amended.

(3) The Amendment hereby made shall come into force with eff ect on and from 27th January 2020.

In the said Rules, in rule 4, for the expression "one year" the expression "six months", shall be substituted.

(Training and Rescue Operations), State Training Centre Tambaram.

No. SRO B-10/2020.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the ad hoc rules published with Home Department

Notifi cation No.SRO B-4/2012at page 8 of Part III - Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the

8th February 2012.

2. (1)

Amendment (1) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with eff ect on and from the

23rd April 2013.

(2)

Amendment (2) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with eff ect on and from the

11th September 2009.

In the said Ad hoc Rules,-

(1)

in rule 1, for the expression "the holder of the temporary post of Joint Director (Training and Rescue Operations)

in the State Training Centre, Tambaram, "the expression "the holders of the temporary post of Joint Director

of Fire Service" shall be substituted.

(2)

in rule 3, for the expression "Category 2", the expression "Category 1" shall be substituted.
