In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 56 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu

Act 34 of 2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby authorises the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai to exercise

the powers of the Government vested in them under sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 15 of the said Act.
