No.II(2)/HE/256/2020.—As per Chapter -IV Executive
Council–Section 23(b)–Class-II–Other Members- (2) and (3)
of the Mother Teresa Women’s University Act, 1984, the
Government Nominate the following six members to the
Executive Council of Mother Teresa Women’s University,
Kodaikanal for a period of three years with effect from the
date of issue of this order:-

Governor
of
Tamil
Nadu
having
been
satisfied
that
the
lands
specified in the Schedule below have to be acquired
for Highways purpose for forming Road Over Bridge
in Salem District, Mettur Taluk, M.Kalipatty Village at
Km
40/8
of
Sankakiri-Mecheri
road
(via)
Edappadi
(SH 220) in lieu of existing LC No.18 at Railway
Km 23/800-900 between Omalur and Mecheri Railway
Stations and it has already been decided that the entire
amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be
paid out of the funds controlled or managed by the Divisional
Engineer
(Highways)

Salem
District
after
considering the cause shown by the owner (or) other person
having interest on such lands as the case may be do
hereby publish the following notice under sub-section
(1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001
(Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).
NOTICE
Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu
Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) the
Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the land specified
in the Schedule below measuring to an extent of 2596.0
sq.mtrs of Dry and Gramanatham lands in Salem District,
Mettur Taluk, M.Kalipatty Village to the same, a little more
or less needed for forming Road Over Bridge at Km 40/8
of Sankakiri-Mecheri road (via) Edappadi (SH 220) in lieu
of existing LC No.18 at Railway Km 23/800-900 between
Omalur and Mecheri Railway Stations.
The plan of the lands is kept in the office of the
District Collector, Salem and may be inspected at any time
during office hours.
