WHEREAS in the reference first read above, the Government have issued orders extending restrictions in the territorial

jurisdictions of the State of Tamil Nadu upto 17-05-2020 to contain the further spread of COVID-19. Further in the reference

second read above, amendment is also issued for the above orders.

NOW THEREFORE the Government based on the proposal of Home and Prohibition and Excise Department issues

following amendment to the GO.Ms.No.217, Revenue and Disaster Management (DM-II) Department, dated 3-5-2020 read

with G.O.Ms.No.223, Revenue and Disaster Management, dated. 05-05-2020 with effect from 18-5-2020.

The following sub-clause shall be added under Clause VII

xxiii. Liquor Retail Vending Shops other than shops located in malls and market complexes will function from

10:00 am to 7:00 pm
