No.II(2)/HWMP/363/2020.—The Governor of Tamil Nadu

having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule

below have to be acquired for the formation of new road

from Thoothukudi – Vanchimaniyachi situated in Maniyachi

Village of Ottapidaram Taluk in the District of Thoothukudi,

and it has already been decided that the entire amount of

compensation is to be awarded for the lands to be paid out

of the funds controlled or managed by Divisional Engineer

(Highways), Construction and Maintenance, Thoothukudi,

the following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of

Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil

Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of

2002) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the

lands specified in the schedule below measuring 11.25.13

Hectares to the same, a little more or less needed for the

formation of new road from Thoothukudi – Vanchimaniyachi

situated in Maniyachi Village of Ottapidaram Taluk in the

District of Thoothukudi.

The Plan of lands is kept in the office of the District

Collector, Thoothukudi and Revenue Divisional Officer,

Kovilpatti may be inspected at any time during office hours.

in schedule below and situated in the Kandipedu village

in the Taluk of Katpadi in the district of Vellore are

required for Highways purpose to wit for formation of

ring road to Vellore and it having already been decided

that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded

conferred under Section 15 of the Scheduled Castes and

Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Central

Act 33 of 1989), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints

Thriu S. Arun, 45, Bakkarusain Street, Pernambut, Vellore

District as Special Public Prosecutor for the purpose of

conducting cases in the Court of the Principal District and

Sessions Court, Vellore District under Section 14 of the said

Act, on tenure basis for a period of three years from the date

of taking charge of his appointment, subject to observance

of existing terms and conditions of appointment.

of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts the scheme of ''Dismantling the

in respect of the scheme of ''Dismantling the existing

building and Re-building of Amma Thirumanamandapam'' at

Anna Nagar, Madurai District as specified in the Table below is

in force, the powers and functions exercisable by the Executive

authority, Madurai Corporation, Madurai District under the

Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act

V of 1920), in respect of receiving plans, sanctioning plans,

regulating the construction of buildings, laying of roads, laying

of underground drainage, water mains, electricity connections

and providing all amenities to the owners of buildings and

all the powers connected therewith shall be exercised by the

Tamil Nadu Housing Board for the period during which the
