NOTICE UNDER SECTION 15(1) OF TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001(TN ACT 34 OF 2002) READ WITH THE

TAMIL NADU LAND ACQUISITION LAWS (REVIVAL OF OPERATION, AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION) ACT, 2019.

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the schedule below are to be

acquired under Chennai – Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project for Highways purpose to wit for Strengthening and

widening of SH-23, Mayiladuthurai-Tiruvarur Road at KM (25/308 to 25/687) Thuthukudi Village in Nannilam Taluk,

Tiruvarur District,and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands

to be paid out of the fundscontrolled andmanaged by the Divisional Engineer(H), Kumbakonam (CKICP), Tamilnaduafter

having considering the cause shown by the owner or other persons having interest on such lands as the case may

be do hereby publish the following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways

Act, 2001 (TN Act 34 of 2002) read with the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws(Revival of Operation, Amendment and

Validation) Act, 2019.

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) read with

the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws(Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019. The Governor of Tamil

Nadu hereby notifi ed that the Wet lands specifi ed in the schedule below and measuring to an extent of 1741 sq.mt of

lands are to be acquired in Thuthukudi Village in Nannilam Taluk, Tiruvarur District, to the same, a little more or less

needed for Chennai-Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project for State Highways purpose, to wit for Strengthening and

widening of SH-23, Mayiladuthurai-Tiruvarur Road at KM (25/308 to 25/687).

The plan of the lands under acquisition are kept in the offi ce of the Special District Revenue offi cer, Chennai

- Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Kumbakonam and offi ce of the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition),

Chennai – Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Tiruvarur may be inspected at any time during the offi ce hours.

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), read

with the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws(Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019, the Governor

of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi ed that the Wet lands specifi ed in the schedule below and measuring to an extent of 485

sq.mt of lands are to be acquired in 13.Sithenvazhur village in Valangaiman Taluk, Tiruvarur District, to the same, a

little more or less needed for Chennai – Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project for State Highways purpose, to wit for

Strengthening and widening of SH-66 Kumbakonam-Mannargudi Road( From KM 14/150 to 14/300).

The plan of the lands under acquisition are kept in the offi ce of the Special District Revenue offi cer (Land Acquisition),

Chennai - Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Kumbakonam and offi ce of the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition),

Chennai – Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Mannargudi may be inspected at any time during the offi ce hours.
