AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION

No.II(1)/BCMBCMW/15/2020.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu

Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of seats in Educational Institutions and

of appointments or posts in the Services under the State) Act, 1993 (Tamil Nadu Act 45 of 1994), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities

Welfare Department Notifi cation No.II(1)/BCMBCMW/36(a)/2008, Published at pages 1-9 of Part II-Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 5th September 2008.

In the said Notifi cation, in THE SCHEDULE, in the heading, LIST OF BACKWARD CLASSES, BACKWARD CLASS

CHRISTIANS, BACKWARD CLASS MUSLIMS, MOST BACKWARD CLASSES AND DENOTIFIED COMMUNITIES, under the

sub-heading I-List of Backward Classes, after Serial No. 109 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial Number and

the entry shall respectively, be inserted, namely:-

"109-A Thiyya"
