DEATH OF THIRU PRANAB MUKHERJEE, FORMER PRESIDENT OF INDIA

The Government of Tamil Nadu announce with profound regret the death of Thiru Pranab Mukherjee,

Former President of India on 31st August 2020 at Army Research and Referral Hospital. State Mourning

will be observed for seven days from 31st August 2020 to 6th September 2020 (both days inclusive).

The National Flag will be fl own at half mast on all buildings where it is fl own regularly, during the period of

mourning throughout the State. There will be no offi cial entertainment during this period.
