Under the fi rst proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes

Act,1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from acquisition of the lands

specifi ed in the Schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of section 3 was published as

Notifi cation No.II(2)/IND/235(c-2)/2012 by the Industries (SIPCOT-LA) Department at pages 3-4 of Part II, Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 7th May 2012 and actual possession of which was not taken by,

or on behalf of, the Government.
