In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 (1) and (3) of the Madras University Act, 1923, the

Hon’ble Governor-Chancellor hereby appoints Prof. S. Gowri, Director, The Educational Multimedia Research

Centre (EMMRC), Anna University as the Vice-Chancellor of University of Madras, Chennai for a period of three

years with eff ect from the date of his assuming offi ce.
