In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) of section 2 of the

Indian Tolls Act, 1851 (Central Act VIII of 1851), as amended by the Tamil Nadu Tolls and Motor Vehicles Taxation

(Amendment) Act, 1938 (Tamil Nadu Act VI of 1938) and the Indian Tolls (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 1942 (Tamil

Nadu Act XIV of 1942), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby levies tolls for the period commencing from the 1st October

2020 and ending with the 31st March 2021 on the classes of motor vehicles specifi ed in column (2) of the Table

below, which enter into or transit through Mamallapuram Special Grade Town Panchayat, at the rates specifi ed in column

(3) thereof, namely:-
