The following Notification of the Government of
India, Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Justice,
Jaisalmer House, 26, Man Singh Road, New Delhi-110 011,
dated 1st Decemebr 2020 is republished.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of
Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is
pleased to appoint (1) Govindarajulu Chandrasekharan, (2)
A.A. Nakkiran, (3) Veerasamy Sivagnanam, (4) Ganesan
Ilangovan, and (5) Smt. Ananthi Subramanian, to be Additional
Judges of the Madras High Court, in that order of seniority.
The appointment of S/Shri (1) Govindarajulu
Chandrasekharan, (2) A.A. Nakkiran, (3) Veerasamy
Sivagnanam, (4) Ganesan Ilangovan, would be for a period
of two years with eff ect from the date they assume charge of
their respective offi ces. However, the period of appointment
of Smt. Ananthi Subramanian, would be with eff ect from the
date she assumes charge of her offi ce till 30th July, 2022.

of the Madras High Court, in that order of seniority.

Murali Shankar Kuppuraju, Miss Manjula Ramaraju Nalliah,
and Smt. Tamilselvi T. Valayapalayam would be for a period

the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and
with the concurrence of the State Governments of Tamil Nadu
and Odisha, the Central Government hereby accords approval
for extension of inter cadre deputation tenure of Ms. Archana
Patnaik, IAS, (TN:2002) from Tamil Nadu cadre to Odisha
cadre for a period of two years beyond 17-12-2020 or until
further orders, whichever is earlier.
